Hot-wire built-in module
The module measures the air flow rate and its temperature using the principle of heat transfer. A circuit with two temperature sensors is used. The basis of the module is the Atmega microcontroller. The measured data is transmitted via the I2C interface at speeds up to 200 KHz. As output data, the sensors generates 3 values:
- Air flow rate, m/s
- Air consumption, m³/s
- Temperature, °С
The device supports I2C address change and has built-in overvoltage protection. The geometry of the module allows the sensor elements to be cleaned under running water.
- Measuring range of air flow velocity: 0.1 … 25 m/s
Air velocity resolution: 0.1 m/s
Temperature resolution: 0.1 °C
Temperature measurement error: 0.5 °C
Accuracy, from 0 to 2 m/s: 0.1 + 5% m/s
Accuracy, more than 2 m/s: 0.3 +10% m/s
Connection Interface: I2C
I2C bus frequency: 200 kHz
Supply voltage: 3.3V
I2C default address: 0x11
Operating temperature range: -20 … +60 °C
Dimensions: 88 x 21 x 13 mm
Device weight (approx.): 12 g .
